Sorry for the lack of an update. It's a little bit of a long story, but the good new is that Fiona is back with me now. For the time being.

As you know, she was at work to be evaluated by our behavior consultant (who i will call "Edna" for security reasons) on Tuesday, where she spent the night. I called Tuesday evening to see how Fiona had done, but never got a call back. I worked Wednesday morning anyway, so I figured that Edna would have left me a note or some sort of message on what she found.
Nothing.
So I was like, 'WTF. Is it really bad and she needs time to think about this, or was the entire evaulation just fine?' I guess our maintanance guy helped out with Edna and he told me that they were trying everything they could to repeat a similar reaction, but she behaved just fine. It made me feel tons better, but I was still really peeved that Edna hadn't gotten back to me.
Before leaving work that same day, I decided I'd call her to get some information out of her and ask her if it was all right for me to take Fiona back home. No answer. I left a message, including my cell phone number, hoping she'd call me at some point. Nope. I waited until Friday before I finally called her up again and told her in my voicemail to her that I was starting to get a little concerned and a little frustrated. No reply.
Later that night I get a call from my cousin who is friends with one of the ladies that is interested in adopting Fiona. She called me a week prior and left me her information to give to Edna. When I dropped Fiona off for her evaulation on Tuesday, Edna told me that she was going to start calling everyone who was interested in her. Well, apparantly this poor lady hadn't heard a word from Edna at all, not until that Friday evening, when Edna left a message saying that she'd get back to her either the next day or Tuesday at the latest.
But you know what really pisses me off? I asked my manager what Edna was doing as far as Fiona's adoption process was going and she told me that Edna said that she was trying and trying and trying to get ahold of my cousin's friend, but that it must be the wrong number. But then she manages to leave a message on her voicemail anyway? So OBVIOUSLY Edna hadn't tried getting ahold of my cousin's friend at all until Friday (and this lady is like... totally excited about Fiona. she's been calling our clinic everyday looking for Edna).

So, not only is Edna not communicating with me, but she's obviously not taking care of this whole adoption process very well, either. Fiona needs a home and, as much as I love her, it's getting harder and harder for me to take care of her now that school has started up again. I mean, I can take her to school with me and have her in class with me, but I still have to watch her and that takes away from my learning time (and she's pretty distracting to the other students, too). It's just too hard to have her at school with me. She needs a home and somebody who is ready and willing to look after a puppy 24/7 and Edna is taking all the time in the world.
It's driving me crazy.

But anyway, aside from that, Fiona is doing great. There was one other incident I had with her being a bit aggressive with a food item, but I quickly grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and flipped her onto her back, looked her in the eyes and made as deep and rumbly as a growl as I could muster, and she settled down real quick. Since then, I haven't had one problem with her xD
So, hopefully Edna will find somebody suitable for her real quick and she'll make somebody so very happy (and busy, haha). But until then, she's stuck with me and I'm stuck with her.
